B R A I N E R D B I O P H I L I C creates fully detailed custom landscape plans (scaled drawings). We collaborate primarily with licensed landscape contractors on their projects in central Florida (Tampa and surrounding counties). We also work directly with homeowners, local companies, builders, property investors and property management agents to design residential and light commercial landscape plans that will meet each client’s specific and unique goals
what to expect
start with a consultation
developing your design
The first draft of the design will be drawn up using any inspiration photos or renderings, survey, site photos,measurements and consultation notes. (During this period you can still convey any forgotten needs or new ideas to include.) An overall layout will be created that meets and incorporates all the essential design elements. From there, the final plan will be developed and refined. The finished plan will be created as a top-down view (scaled drawing)and will include the names and placement of plants and trees, their quantities and size, plus details on materials, dimensions, and key project installation notes. The plan is similar to a blueprint in that it can be presented to anyone involved in the project – from irrigation, lighting or landscape contractors who may need it to do installs – to investors, friends, family and colleagues. Upon completion of the design, we will contact you to schedule your Design Review Meeting.
Delivery Of Your Design
A final Design Review Meeting will be scheduled to fully review the new landscaping plan with you. During this meeting, along with the plan, you will receive a Material Take-off and we will walk through full color pictures of the plants and trees selected as part of your ‘plant palette’. At this time, we will answer all your questions and make any desired revisions. We will provide you with one (1) full-size hard copy, (1) digital copy and your Material Take-off and finalized Plant Palette. During this final meeting we can provide tips and strategies on how to accomplish it from start to finish and offer referrals to licensed contractors we have collaborated with on other projects if requested. (If you have a landscape contractor already selected they should participate in this meeting as well as any ‘decision makers’ who will also be involved .) With a drawn out plan and a vision for your project now delivered, you will be ready to execute your project with confidence.
